Job summary

Capital i seeks a Biomedical Equipment Repair Technician II for Tracy Army Depot, CA. The role involves testing, repairing, calibrating, and overhauling patient care equipment and maintaining compliance with DoD standards.

You will work with DMLSS, SAMS-E, TEWLS, and GCSS, collaborate with vendors, and support inventory and deployment activities. Travel up to 50% and a federal background check are required.

Qualifications

• <span>BMET must graduate DoD BMET course or CBET certification or have an AAS in Medical Equipment Technology.</span>
• <span>Minimum two years of BMET experience.</span>
• <span>Knowledge of technical inspections, repair, calibrations/PMCS, and overhaul of medical equipment.</span>
• <span>Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.</span>
• <span>Good communication and time management skills.</span>
• <span>Must pass background screening for security clearance and be eligible to work in the United States.</span>
• <span>Must have or obtain valid federal access ID and driver’s license.</span>
• <span>Experience with Department of Defense preferred.</span>

Responsibilities

• <span>Conduct technical inspections of new, used, or reconditioned medical equipment.</span>
• <span>Perform maintenance actions including repairs, calibrations, PMCS, and overhauls.</span>
• <span>Ensure compliance with military and federal safety and performance standards.</span>
• <span>Utilize Army systems: DMLSS, SAMS-E, TEWLS, GCSS.</span>
• <span>Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for technical support and updates.</span>
• <span>Maintain documentation of maintenance actions per regulatory requirements.</span>
• <span>Assist in risk assessment and preventive maintenance programs.</span>
• <span>Support inventory management and tracking of biomedical equipment.</span>
• <span>Assist in evaluating and deploying new biomedical equipment.</span>
• <span>Assist in logistics planning and equipment deployment for readiness.</span>
