A leading engineering services firm in Washington is seeking a Senior Managing Biomechanist to lead analyses in human-injury cases, perform accident reconstructions, and provide expert testimony. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in biomechanics and a strong background in client relationship management. Qualifications

• 10 – 15 years of experience in biomechanics, accident reconstruction, and premises liability work required.
• Experience with establishing clientele and rapport with insurance carriers, lawyers, and adjusters.
• Must have testifying experience as an expert witness.
• Valid PE license, PhD, SAE certification or ACTAR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in detailed inspections of vehicles and accident sites.
• Use computer models to reconstruct accidents and measure load levels.
• Support business development and client relationship management.
• Provide expert testimony at legal proceedings.
• Perform accident reconstructions of various vehicle types.
