Colonial Group is seeking a Senior Biomechanist to lead forensic biomechanics analyses, reconstruct vehicular accidents, and provide testimony in legally sensitive settings. This remote role serves clients nationwide, leveraging CAD, 3D modeling, and advanced crash reconstruction tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of biomechanics, accident reconstruction, and premises liability experience.
• Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Experience with CAD and courtroom deposition/testimony a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and measure vehicles for crashes and injuries.
• Provide expert testimony at trials and depositions.
• Use computer models to reconstruct accidents and measure loads.
• Conduct detailed inspections of sites and analyze crash sequences.
• Review police reports, medical records, and other documents for recon.
• Perform simulations using PC-Crash and other software.
• Evaluate impact forces on occupants and injury mechanisms.
• Take an active role in marketing YA Engineering Services.
