Job summary

Frontage Laboratories Inc. in Hayward, CA is seeking a Scientist/Senior Scientist/Principal Scientist to lead biomarker assay development, validation, and transfer for preclinical and clinical studies.

You will partner with clients, drive regulatory-compliant workflows, and mentor staff while delivering high-quality data on tight timelines. Experience with GLP/GCP, immunoassays, and platform technologies like NULISA, SIMOA, MSD, Luminex and LC-MS/MS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in biomarker assay development and validation.
• Knowledge of immunoassay technologies and biomarker analysis.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead biomarker assay development, optimization, qualification, validation, and sample analysis projects.
• Act as scientific lead for biomarker studies supporting drug discovery and clinical development.
• Provide mentorship to research staff and oversee technical execution.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and implement innovations to meet client needs.
• Ensure timely, regulatory-compliant delivery of biomarker data.
