Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related life sciences field.
• 15+ years as environmental scientist with surveys, fieldwork, and impact assessments.
• Experience coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies; leading reports and licensing.
• Familiarity with NEPA/State analyses; knowledge of environmental laws and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level guidance for data collection and analysis of observational and spatial data across multiple ecosystems.
• Lead and oversee environmental impact assessment, permitting activities, and restoration planning.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations explaining research findings.
• Mentor junior staff and lead cross-functional project teams on budgets and timelines.
• Engage in business development and proposal writing to support project pursuits.
