Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field required.
• Strong knowledge of CEQA and NEPA.
• Experience coordinating with federal, state and regional agencies.
• Ability to develop permitting strategies and prepare technical documents.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead biological resource assessments, field surveys, and reporting.
• Identify effects on special-status species and sensitive habitats.
• Develop avoidance, minimization, mitigation, monitoring plans.
• Prepare and manage regulatory permit applications with agencies.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, regulators, and project teams.
• Support CEQA/NEPA review and permit documentation.
• Manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules.
• Provide guidance on regulatory constraints and permitting strategy.
• Mentor junior biologists and staff and assist with business development.
