Job summary

NV5 is seeking a full-time Senior Biologist to join our Northeast Region Environmental team in Morristown, NJ, with flexibility for candidates in NY or Philadelphia. The role focuses on natural resource and endangered species projects, requiring field work, data collection, and report preparation.

Responsibilities include leading wetland delineations, surveys, and coordination with agencies, clients, and staff. A background in biology and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in biology, ecology, wildlife or similar curriculum.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to present field data in reports.
• High attention to detail and organization.
• Willingness to travel and support field staff.
• Must have or obtain a valid driver's license and pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead wetland delineations and endangered species surveys.
• Manage projects and coordinate field teams.
• Capture, handle, and identify threatened species.
• Prepare technical reports and data interpretation.
