Job summary

MSD Malaysia seeks a Senior Specialist in Advanced Process Analytics & Data Strategy to apply data science and process modeling to biologics manufacturing analytics. You will develop analytics solutions, support process standardization, and collaborate with scientists, engineers, and digital teams to deliver data-driven insights.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution with Python/R, SQL, and statistical modeling to support CPV, digital analytics, and regulatory-ready data products.

Qualifications

• BS in a related field with 5+ years biopharmaceutical experience.
• MS/PhD with seniority as described, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to apply statistics and data science to manufacturing data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute process analytics connecting unit operations, parameters, and quality attributes.
• Build data flow maps across MES, LIMS, PI Historian, SAP, ELN and related systems.
• Create dashboards and models for CPV, digital twins, and AI/ML workflows.
• Support data governance, data quality, and ALCOA+ data integrity practices.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and IT to enable scalable analytics.
