Gilead Sciences Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist for Biologics Pilot Lab Operations to lead pilot scale cell culture activities supporting toxicology studies and development efforts.
You will train staff, implement new tech and ensure readiness of Pilot Lab; collaborate with process development teams to improve capacity, efficiency and productivity across the biologics pipeline.
Qualifikationen
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Bio-engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related field with 5+ years (or Master’s with 3 years) of industrial experience in biologics purification development and/or scaleup operations.
- Hands-on experience with pilot-scale cell culture operation planning and execution. Experience in tech transfer process scale-up.
Aufgaben
- Maintain state-of-the-art upstream Pilot Lab capabilities to support rapid advancement of biologics pipeline through development milestones.
- Execute pilot scale cell culture operations in Shake flasks, Wave, 100L, and 500L Single Use Bioreactors.
- Provide general lab support with routine maintenance of analytical equipment.
- Collect and analyze data from Pilot Lab runs and prepare batch records and reports.
- Transfer process to the Pilot Lab on schedule with high success rate.
