Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related discipline, with industry experience (BS w/ 4+ years, MS w/ 2+ years).
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience in separation technologies including multiple modes for HPLC and capillary electrophoresis for complex proteins.
• Experience in developing and validating biopharmaceutical analytical methods including liquid chromatography, electrophoretic separations, and glycoprotein analysis.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide work to achieve outcomes.
• Prepare analytical reports and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving with proactive process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Characterization of biological molecules and degradation pathways; define critical quality attributes; contribute to method development, qualification, validation, and transfer.
• Maintain familiarity with scientific literature and apply new knowledge to projects.
• Convey complex concepts to interdisciplinary teams through oral and written presentations and reports.
• Collaborate with scientists to advance state-of-the-art techniques to characterize biopharmaceutical products and develop high-throughput methodologies.
• Develop creative solutions to moderately complex problems.
• Document results in electronic notebooks and technical reports.
