Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, Bioinformatics or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years building scalable software for bioinformatics pipelines.
• Experience with lab scientists, computational biologists, or clinical reviewers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software for bioinformatics pipelines.
• Create data models and optimize algorithms for assembly, mapping, variant calling and annotation.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes and API integrations for data ingestion.
• Analyze SQL queries, tune databases, and contribute to schema design.
• Build dashboards and automated reports using BI tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with analysts, clinicians, and software teams to deliver timely integrations.
• Ensure testability with unit/integration tests and maintain detailed docs.
