Job summary

Baylor Miraca Genetics Laboratories LLC is seeking a SeniorBioinformatics Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software for our bioinformatics pipelines in a hybrid Houston-based role.

You will collaborate with data analysts, clinical reviewers, and lab personnel to deliver data-driven software, optimize data models, and implement robust ETL and APIs using Python, SQL, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with scalable solutions; production-ready from scratch.
