Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, mathematics, or related field.
• 8+ years of industry or academia experience in bioinformatics.
• 6+ years in medical device/biotech/pharma/life sciences.
• Demonstrated experience in developing statistical and quantitative methods.
• Deep knowledge of molecular biology/biochemistry and/or genomics/NGS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and plan complex bioinformatics projects within R&D.
• Develop algorithms and analyze datasets across product/technology areas.
• Mentor junior scientists and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare reports, abstracts, and contribute to publications.
• Present results at meetings and support project decisions.
• Work with HPC/cloud computing environments and maintain data integrity.
