Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, or related field (or equivalent with experience).
• 8+ years in bioinformatics; 6+ years in medical device/biotech/pharma industry preferred.
• Strong math, statistics, and data analysis skills; ability to lead projects.
• Knowledge of NGS data, genomics, and Big Data concepts; experience with HPC/cloud a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint; ability to present complex results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead SDLC for bioinformatics projects within cancer diagnostics development.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate algorithms; present results at meetings.
• Mentor junior scientists; contribute to scientific publications and IP.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive project milestones.
• Maintain documentation, research plans, and technical reports.
