Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Bioinformatician to provide centralized computational support for large genomic datasets and ML methods. The role emphasizes reproducible analyses and collaboration across researchers in women's health.

The candidate will develop pipelines, manage data, and contribute to multiple research efforts with PIs and diverse collaborators in an on-site Aurora, CO setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science or related field.
• Three years of data management and bioinformatic analyses experience.
• Three years of data management and bioinformatic analyses experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PIs and stakeholders in bioinformatics and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain computational tools to access clinical and sample data.
• Build analyses pipelines for multi-omics datasets (bulk, single-cell, spatial).
• Create data visualizations and reports for collaborators.
• Identify AI/ML tools and frameworks for bioinformatic projects.
• Provide biostatistical/data science leadership in study design and analysis.
