University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Bioinformatician to provide centralized computational support for large genomic datasets and ML methods. The role emphasizes reproducible analyses and collaboration across researchers in women's health.
The candidate will develop pipelines, manage data, and contribute to multiple research efforts with PIs and diverse collaborators in an on-site Aurora, CO setting.
We are seeking a qualified Bioinformatician to provide centralized computational support to a diverse group of researchers across our department. This individual will assist in software development and data analysis in highly collaborative research environment focusing on women's health. The IT Professional will primarily work on building and maintaining workflows for the analysis of large-scale genomic datasets, data management, and machine learning methods application. The ideal candidate will be proficient in, or highly motivated to learn, biological data science, machine learning, and high-throughput sequencing analysis. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, possess strong scientific communication skills, and show a clear commitment to reproducibility, replicability, and transparency in research. They should also have experience managing projects and provide examples of contributing to multiple research efforts involving diverse collaborators.
Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE $70,492-$89,666
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
