Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks an Open Rank Research Services Clinical Sciences Professional to coordinate biospecimen collection, processing, storage, and data management for clinical and translational research.

The role emphasizes compliance with regulations, data integrity, and collaboration across clinical and research teams in an academic medical setting. Onsite work in Aurora, CO with opportunities to improve SOPs and support CAP accreditation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• One year of clinical research or related experience
• Two years of clinical research or related experience for Senior level
• Experience with EMR/EHR and data management is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage research staff schedule to cover specimen collections during patient visits and surgeries.
• Collect and manage data from medical record systems (EPIC).
• Coordinate collection and processing of tissue and body fluid samples from procedures.
• Gather research specimens from surgical procedures in the pathology gross room.
• Develop and implement SOPs and compliance documentation to support CAP accreditation.
