Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is hiring a Lead Biochemist – Quality Control to oversee bioassay testing, documentation, and team development. You will lead lab operations, ensure compliance and drive improvements across QC activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences or related field with 4+ years of lab experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Strong computer, scientific and organizational skills; able to learn new techniques and troubleshoot instruments.
• Proven leadership with focus on team development, engagement and retention.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and proactive.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and comply with policies.

Responsibilities

• Lab Operations: Perform bioassays, cell passages, media/buffer prep, equipment calibrations and sanitization.
• Documentation & Compliance: Enter and verify data, review protocols, logbook entries and support deviation investigations.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot instrument issues and serve as a technical resource; liaise with customers and vendors.
• Team Leadership: Coach and develop team, monitor workflow toward turnaround times, conduct reviews and training.
• Collaboration & Strategy: Work with leadership and clients to implement policies and drive improvements.
