Job summary

Manus is seeking a Senior Process Controls Engineer to lead automation and instrumentation initiatives at our Augusta BioFacility. You will own control system design, configuration, testing, commissioning, and continuous improvement to support production operations.

In this role, you will mentor junior engineers, drive capital projects, and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and EHS to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 5–7 years in process controls or automation engineering in manufacturing.
• 5–7 years of project management experience.
• Hands-on expertise with PLC/DCS platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, DeltaV, Honeywell).
• Experience leading capital projects, scope, cost, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control loops; GMP awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of complex control systems.
• Provide senior technical support to Production for automation and troubleshooting.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices across projects.
• Manage capital projects from scope to site commissioning and FAT.
• Ensure documentation and change control align with GMP standards.
