Job summary

Alcami seeks a Scientist III, Bioassay to drive testing for pharmaceutical product development and manufacturing. You will perform cell-based potency assays, ELISA, real-time PCR, and enzymatic activity assays, contributing to method development and validation where needed.

The role emphasizes data analysis, lab documentation, and collaboration with teams and clients in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 16+ years of related experience or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience or higher
• Master’s degree with 2+ years of related experience
• PhD with no required experience
• 2+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical, CDMO, or cGMP preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory analysis of pharmaceutical products using analytical instrumentation and documents data per Alcami SOPs
• Documents results in electronic laboratory notebook
• Performs cell-based potency assays, ELISA, Real-time PCR, enzymatic activity assays and related methods
• Supports troubleshooting and problem solving for cell-based and biochemical tests
• Writes SOPs, test procedures, specifications and summary reports
• Maintains equipment, safety, and cleanliness of the lab
• Complies with cGMP and training requirements
• Interacts with team members and clients to discuss data and progress
