Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Scientist, Method Development (Regulated Bioanalysis) to lead BA/biomarker method development, validation, and study support for development compounds across modalities, primarily using LC-MS. The role includes serving as an expert for advanced lab equipment and cross-functional team leadership.

Formación

• Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in the Life Sciences.
• 2+ years of academic and/or industry experience.
• Preferred degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related fields with drug development experience at a pharmaceutical company or bioanalytical & biomarker CRO.
• Strong understanding of bioanalysis & biomarker roles in drug development, including method development, validation, study support, and data impact on PK/PD.
• Strong LC-MS/MS skills with separation and quantitation of small or large molecule therapeutics and biomarkers in biological matrices; maintenance and troubleshooting of MS.
• Experience with LC-MS/MS and LBA method development, qualification/validation, and study sample analysis in regulated environments.
• Good communication skills and experience authoring and reviewing bioanalytical & biomarker assays.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate novel techniques to address bioanalytical and biomarker issues.
• Provide in-house bioanalytical and biomarker support for development programs using tandem mass spectrometry-based methods.
• Be the technical expert on sample cleanup, chromatography, MS instrumentation, and related issues.
• Interact with bioanalytical CROs to address method issues and lead knowledge transfer of new technologies.
• Keep management apprised of project status and current scientific trends with written and oral summaries.
