Job summary

The Haskell Company, located in Frisco, TX, seeks a BIM/VDC Specialist to lead model-based coordination and 4D planning in a fast-paced design-build environment. You will apply BIM/VDC workflows with design and construction teams to improve coordination and constructability.

You will run clash detection, develop 4D sequences, create model-based takeoffs, and train staff on Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.

Qualifications

Degree in AEC Technology (Architecture/Engineering/Construction).
5+ years of BIM/VDC experience in the AEC industry.
Strong proficiency with BIM/VDC workflows and design-build delivery.
Professional certification in Revit preferred; related credentials beneficial.
Excellent communication and coordination across design and construction teams.

Responsibilities

Run clash detection analysis on design and construction models.
Coordinate meetings with AE and Construction teams.
Assist with development and maintenance of Virtual Construction standards for BIM software.
Develop model-based quantity takeoff sheets and constructability reviews.
Produce layout and coordination drawings for field personnel.
Develop 3D models from 2D information for coordination.
Create renderings and 4D animations for proposals and marketing.
Develop 4D sequences linked to detailed project schedules.
Train staff on BIM/VDC processes and software.
Lead innovation initiatives related to BIM/VDC (VR/AR/UAS/3D printing).
Perform quality checks on models and review work of junior staff.
Assist with advanced data extraction and automated reporting.
