Job summary

Baker Group is seeking an experienced Industrial BIM/VDC Detailer II to lead the BIM team in developing 3D models, spools, and install drawings. The role includes QA/QC against contract documents and coordination with Project Managers and field teams.

The position requires five years of detailing experience in piping, P&ID/PFD knowledge, and proficiency in Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and Procore. On-site role with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Five years of plumbing and steamfitting apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Five years of related detailing experience with 3 years leading detailing projects.
• Strong knowledge of P&ID, PFD, piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on detailing projects from kickoff through completion.
• Review and markup spool drawings, BIM models, and construction drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage detailing deliverables to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project specifications and piping material requirements.
• Mentor detailing team members and coordinate with Project Managers and field personnel.
• Stay current with BIM tools and best practices through training and conferences.
