Permasteelisa North America | Benson seeks a BIM Specialist to join the BIM team in its regional offices (Bloomfield, CT; Minneapolis, MN; Portland, OR; Miramar, FL; Montreal). The role focuses on reading curtainwall drawings and translating them into accurate BIM models using Revit and PMF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in architecture or engineering with relevant experience.
• 5–7 years related experience; curtainwall/ construction exposure a plus.
• Willingness for occasional international travel and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural and 2D fabrication drawings of curtainwall.
• Translate drawings into BIM models using Revit and PMF software.
• Modify templates and create detailed 3D models and custom components.
• Generate drawings for submittals and perform clash detection.
• Train and monitor BIM Modelers to maintain high standards.
• Coordinate with project teams and participate in BIM coordination meetings.
