Job summary

Amentum in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a Plant Designer to develop piping systems, equipment layouts, and BIM deliverables using SmartPlant 3D. You will collaborate with Piping, Structural, and Civil teams, manage model outputs for materials lists, and support schedules and budgets within the Plant Design group.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM in plant design projects.
• 10+ years using BIM tools for Plant Design.
• Chemical process mechanical/piping design experience.
• Nuclear piping design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Intermittent sitting, standing, bending and lifting up to 20 lbs, with occasional field travel.
• Coordinate with Piping, Structural and Civil teams on interfaces.
• Manage model outputs for material lists and reports.
• Ensure proper integration with BIM tools and schematics.
