Job summary

Central Business Solutions, Inc is seeking a Sr. BIM Electrical Engineer in New York City to lead electrical design within construction and design‑build projects. You will develop Revit models for power, lighting, grounding, and telecom layouts, coordinating with architects, structures, and MEP teams.

The role requires six or more years of experience, strong NEC knowledge, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto, Bluebeam, BIM 360/ACC, and Procore. NYC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in electrical engineering within construction/design‑build.
• Strong Revit expertise for electrical systems modeling and BIM coordination.
• Deep knowledge of NEC and local electrical regulations.
• Ability to create detailed drawings and specs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering outputs from concept to closeout.
• Coordinate BIM across architectural, structural, and mechanical teams.
• Facilitate technical reviews, model walkthroughs, and clash detection.
• Support budget, scheduling, RFIs, and submittals.
