Job summary

Five Star Electric Corp., a Tutor Perini Company, in Ozone Park, NY, is seeking an Electrical BIM Engineer to develop and coordinate detailed electrical models using Revit and related BIM tools. The role supports project teams through design, coordination, and documentation across major NYC-area projects.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years as an electrical engineer in construction or design/build, strong Revit skills, and familiarity with NEC and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as an electrical engineer in construction/design/build
• Revit proficiency for 3D modeling and shop drawings
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS Diploma required
• Experience with electrical contractor environments preferred
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical codes is required

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain electrical models and drawings in Revit (power, lighting, low-voltage)
• Coordinate models with other disciplines to resolve clashes
• Prepare layout drawings, one-line diagrams, panel schedules and equipment layouts
• Support design review, submittals, and shop drawings with senior engineers
