Job summary

Leidos in Reston, Virginia, seeks a Senior BIM Specialist to lead 3D Revit modeling for above- and below-ground facilities, integrating BIM standards, AI/ML workflows, and digital twins to support national security infrastructure.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate BIM models, ensure quality, and collaborate with software developers to push innovation; a TS/SCI with Polygraph is required. A bachelor's in a relevant field and 12+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in creating or modifying facility drawings; advanced Revit proficiency including family creation.
• Strong BIM principles, workflows, standards, and execution planning experience.
• Knowledge of underground construction techniques and building codes.
• Experience with BIM Execution Plans and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, BIM360; digital twin and simulation familiarity.
• Understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish and integrate BIM standards, protocols, and processes.
• Create, manage, and coordinate BIM models for above and below ground facilities.
• Mentor junior team members and cross-disciplinary staff.
• Perform quality control checks on models for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide advanced technical support for BIM software and workflows.
