Job summary

American Senior Communities is hiring a Central Billing Office Biller to enter accounts receivable data, post third-party payments, and support month-end close. You will review eligibility, reconcile cash and census, and handle co-insurance claims with accuracy.

The role requires knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing, UB04 forms, and the ability to read and interpret procedures. A two-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Join us to support residents and care teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent or 1+ year of related experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing guidelines.
• Familiarity with UB04 form.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures; write business correspondence.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Enter accounts receivable data and post third-party payments.
• Reconcile census, cash, and deposits; support month-end processing.
• Submit co-insurance claims electronically or on paper.
• Review aging and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Ensure Medicare claims are set to pay and payer overrides are present when needed.
• Maintain organized files and support shared drive documentation.
