Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks a Senior Billing Liaison to ensure 100% charge capture by reviewing physician notes and operative reports, coding all services with CPT and ICD-10-CM codes and modifiers. The role requires EPIC Charge Review workflow oversight and ongoing payer/billing process compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPC certification or equivalent (Certified Professional Coder).
• Minimum 5 years coding experience preferred.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Review work queues and billing forms to ensure correct coding.
• Assign CPT, ICD-10 codes and modifiers as needed.
• Create reports analyzing division revenue, denials and improvements.
• Attend monthly meetings with division heads/physicians and provide billing reports.
• Serve as coding resource for divisions and other liaisons.
• Maintain CPC certification and attend coding trainings and seminars.
• Track third-party payment issues affecting division revenues.
