Qualifications

• Proven experience building and optimizing Power BI data models in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to design dimensional models using star-schema concepts and conformed dimensions.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling principles.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse and cross-platform work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify data-solutions opportunities.
• Design, develop and optimize scalable semantic models for reporting and analytics.
• Optimize data structures for accuracy, reliability, and certification of data assets.
• Apply best practices to enhance Power BI modeling and dataset performance.
• Support data platform modernization and governance initiatives.
• Assist with data engineering activities including pipelines, lakehouse/warehouse design, and data products.
