Job summary

Mizkan America is seeking a Sr. BI Analyst in Schaumburg, IL to translate data into actionable insights and drive decision-making across the business. You will partner with IT and business stakeholders, build scalable analytics on modern data platforms, and leverage Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure services, and lakehouse concepts.

You will design dashboards, data models, and data pipelines, while supporting governance and secure analytics delivery within a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in BI/analytics, with Power BI and data modeling.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure analytics services, and lakehouse concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions (dashboards, reports, semantic models) using Power BI and Microsoft analytics tools.
• Gather requirements, define metrics, and translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
• Model, transform, and visualize data from multiple systems to present clear insights for decisions.
• Build data pipelines and transformations within Microsoft Fabric using SQL, Python, PySpark, notebooks, and pipelines.
• Contribute to lakehouse architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) for scalable analytics and reporting.
• Support Fabric capabilities including Lakehouse, Warehouse, pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Power BI integration.
