Job summary

Ascendo Resources seeks an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead data operations and translate data into scalable revenue drivers. You will build BI architecture, partner with data engineering, and deliver executive dashboards.

You’ll work directly with executive leadership to shape the company’s future. The role requires 5+ years in BI, advanced SQL, and hands-on Looker/Data Studio expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, CS, Business or related field.
• 5+ years in a dedicated Data Analyst or BI Analyst role.
• 1+ years advising or supporting C-level executives.
• Advanced SQL with CTEs, window functions, joins and complex aggregations.
• Experience building production dashboards in Looker / Data Studio / similar tools.
• Strong business sense and ability to explain analytics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for rapid modeling.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work on-site in Miami, FL.

Responsibilities

• Own Executive Reporting: design, deploy, maintain dashboards and KPI trackers.
• Drive Next-Gen Analytics: evolve attribution across channels.
• Provide proactive strategic insights to anticipate opportunities.
• Data Modeling & Architecture: write production SQL and shape master tables.
• Dashboard & Tool Optimization: enhance Looker dashboards and BI tools.
• Pipeline Collaboration: work with Data Engineering on ingestion and governance.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: be the senior data authority across departments.
• C-Suite Advisory: present insights clearly to executives.
• Data Stewardship: maintain data dictionaries and documentation.
