Job summary

SiloSmashers, Inc. is seeking a BI Engineer Lead to architect, design, and sustain high-impact dashboards and analytics across our Databricks data platform and BI tools.

You will serve as the lead technical authority for enterprise BI, covering semantic modeling, metric design, and secure publishing to stakeholders. The role collaborates with federal teams, project managers, and governance personnel to ensure visualization accuracy, performance, and compliance across platforms such as Power BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, analytics, or related field; or 8 years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years building and operating production-grade visualizations/dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, Kibana/Elastic, Databricks Dashboards or similar.
• Hands-on with SQL queries and medallion data patterns (bronze/silver/gold) and governance controls.
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows for BI assets and CI/CD for BI deployments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal BI/Visualization authority for end-to-end dashboard design and data-to-visual mapping.
• Design and deliver BI solutions on Power BI, Tableau, Kibana and Databricks Dashboards.
• Author governed semantic models and BI-ready datasets with row/column security.
