Amazon is seeking a senior data analyst to join the FBA analytics team in Bellevue, WA. The role focuses on turning large, multi-source data into actionable insights, building scalable dashboards, and partnering with business and engineering teams to drive data-driven decisions.

Key tasks include crafting KPI dashboards, applying statistical methods, and collaborating across product and data engineering to standardize data transformation and improve decision making.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional or military experience.
• 5+ years of SQL experience.
• 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience.
• 1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience.
• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
• Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results.
• Experience with AWS technologies.
• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining.

Responsibilities

• Deep dive into data to uncover actionable insights.
• Create robust reporting to increase visibility into the metrics and data.
• Partner with key stakeholders to enable data driven decision making.
• Partner with data engineers to build data pipeline and standardize data transformation logic.
• Design and implement scalable self-service dashboards to enable business users get answer frequently asked business questions in self service fashion.
• Apply statistical techniques to infer impact of product and policy decisions on business outcomes.
