Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL experience.
• 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience.
• 1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience.
• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage a long-term vision to improve forecasting results through scalable metrics, pipelines and structures.
• Communicate with analytics peers and stakeholders to balance tactical and strategic information needs.
• Collaborate with transportation and tech teams to understand, anticipate, and respond to current and future needs.
• Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics, build self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value.
• Connect with the Amazon community of AI builder professionals to stay current on technology trends, data tools and techniques to improve team performance.
• Create and foster an environment that values inclusive problem solving and continuous learning.
• Build bar-raising dashboards that trigger proactive actions and reveal insights for stakeholders.
• Leverage querying and modeling languages, statistical models to fuel these data products.
