Job summary

RxSense LLC, a healthcare technology leader, seeks a Senior BI Engineer to own the analytics stack from the governed metrics layer in Snowflake to enterprise BI dashboards. Role balances data modeling and metrics governance with dashboards, plus AI-enabled development workflows.

You will implement metric definitions once, serve them across BI tools, client reporting, and AI systems, while ensuring data quality and governance across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on BI experience with data models, metrics, and dashboards.
• Strong data analytics grounding: data modeling, metric definition, analytics questions behind dashboards.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data warehouses.
• Breadth across BI tools (ThoughtSpot, Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
• Strong SQL and AI-enabled analytics tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain gold-layer data models and a governed metrics layer in Snowflake using dbt.
• Establish metric definitions as the single source of truth with clear ownership and change management.
• Push transformation logic into the warehouse to keep consumption layers simple and high-trust.
• Collaborate with data engineering on raw/silver vs gold/metrics boundaries.
• Structure and document metrics for AI agents and autonomous analytics systems.
• Build and maintain dashboards and analytics in enterprise BI platform on governed metrics.
• Translate business questions into metrics and visuals.
• Optimize dashboards/queries for high-volume data and performance.
• Recommend BI design patterns across tooling for better practice.
• Build with coding agents and AI-assisted tooling in development environments.
