Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a senior BI engineer to own critical data infrastructure, integrate external data sources, and architect automated AI data flows across teams. You will master the full data stack, including DBT, Looker, BigQuery, Fivetran, Census, Cloud Functions, Salesforce, and NetSuite, while partnering with stakeholders to deliver governance and scalable pipelines.

You will drive GTM-aligned data initiatives, deploy AI models in business contexts, and manage multiple high-priority efforts

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with DBT and at least 1 year owning and architecting production-grade data pipelines end-to-end
• 4+ years owning and administering a BI tool such as Looker, Tableau, or Mode
• 4+ years of SQL mastery
• 2+ years of Python applied to real-world data challenges including API integrations and workflow orchestration
• Experience deploying AI models in a business context and scaling capabilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives and translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Build foundational AI infrastructure and data pipelines shaping organization-wide productivity
• Work with a modern tech stack including DBT, Looker, BigQuery, Fivetran, Census, Cloud Functions, Salesforce and NetSuite
• Integrate systems and data between SevenRooms and DoorDash in novel ways
• Collaborate with GTM, Finance, Operations and other teams to surface actionable data
• Own governance and control mechanisms to ensure data pipeline accuracy and reliability
