Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a strategic BI engineer to own infrastructure across DBT, AI flows, and data integrations with SevenRooms. You will connect APIs, surface data to stakeholders, and enforce governance to ensure trusted data at scale.

You’ll work with Looker, BigQuery, Fivetran, Census, and more to enable AI-driven decision-making across departments. The role emphasizes building scalable data infrastructure and partnering with GTM, Finance, and Operations, with opportunities to shape data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with DBT and at least 1 year owning and architecting production-grade data pipelines end-to-end
• 4+ years of demonstrated SQL mastery
• 2+ years of Python experience applied to real-world data challenges, including API integrations, data extraction, and workflow orchestration
• Experience deploying or launching AI models in a business context
• Track record of independently managing multiple high-priority initiatives across departments
• Rigorous approach to data quality and pipeline governance

Responsibilities

• Establish new API connections to external data sources and model data for stakeholders
• Surface data to key decision-makers and drive governance across pipelines
• Architect automated AI workflows to expand productivity across teams
• Build data integrations between SevenRooms and DoorDash across multiple departments
• Own end-to-end data stack familiarity (DBT, Looker, BigQuery, Fivetran, Census, Cloud Functions, Salesforce, NetSuite) within 6–12 months
