Job summary

Canal Insurance Company is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade reporting, dashboards, and analytical solutions. This role uses Power BI to provide insights across Claims, Underwriting, Agency, Finance and Operations, and requires Azure-based analytics experience and strong SQL capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BI / Data Analytics development.
• Strong hands-on Power BI with dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Strong SQL skills with complex joins, window functions, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Azure data and analytics platforms (Data Lake, SQL, SQL Server).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade reporting and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, Data Engineering, and business teams on ETL/ELT processes.
• Build semantic data models and ensure governance and data quality.
