The role partners with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical reporting, builds semantic models for consistency, and writes optimized SQL queries to support analytics. Strong communication and collaboration with data teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or reporting.
• Expert-level Power BI development, administration, and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL and semantic modeling experience.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
• Develop and maintain semantic models to support self-service analytics.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and ad hoc requests.
• Monitor report performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy.
• Support Power BI administration, governance, and performance tuning.
• Conduct user training sessions and provide reporting support.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and QA to improve reporting capabilities.
