The University of Rochester seeks an experienced BI specialist to lead the BI application administrator role, managing upgrades, configurations, and security for BI tools across university systems.

You will design, develop, and validate data reports and dashboards, write SQL for data extraction, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver reporting solutions for research, finance, and executive audiences.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience developing reports/dashboards with BI tools (PowerBI, Cognos, Tableau, etc.).
• Experience in higher education, healthcare, or related fields preferred.
• Experience with Agile project methodologies is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the BI application administrator role, including upgrades, testing, and security administration.
• Develop SQL queries and data extraction for reporting needs.
• Create dashboards and reports for research, finance, and executive use.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Ensure security and auditing of BI environments and data sources.
