University of Rochester is seeking a Sr Business Intelligence Developer to lead reporting and analytics across university systems. You will design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports, ensure data quality, and collaborate with research and IT teams to support decision making.

Responsibilities include administering BI tools, creating executive reports, and mentoring junior staff, with a focus on data warehouse and cloud-based reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with developing reports and dashboards with BI tools such as PowerBI, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Qlik, IBM Cognos, Tableau.
• Experience in higher education/medical or healthcare industry preferred.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
• 5 years of Student, HCM & Finance reporting experience preferred.
• Experience with Oracle on Unix DBMS environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Completes all development work as assigned.
• Collaborates with cross functional teams and provides leadership for design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, maintenance, security of reporting and associated applications.
• Creates and reviews data audits and quality processes for the validation of deliverables.
• Utilizes software to generate metrics and develops actionable recommendations.
• May serve as the primary administrator for the BI application tools.
• Mentors and trains new or lower level staff.
