Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Northbrook, IL is seeking a hands-on Senior BI Developer/Analyst to build and maintain BI, data warehousing, and data engineering solutions supporting supply chain partners.

You will lead requirements sessions, design data models, develop dashboards in Tableau and Power BI, write performant SQL, and collaborate with IT and data engineers to migrate legacy reports to the cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Data Science/Supply Chain/Business Admin or related field.

Responsibilities

• Act as BI lead for operations and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
• Lead requirements sessions and translate questions into metrics and specs.
• Map workflows and data flows; document processes and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate between business partners and IT development teams.
• Build data pipelines, reporting and analytics.
• Design and maintain Tableau and Power BI dashboards tracking KPIs.
• Write performant SQL and develop data models for large datasets.
• Develop data transformations in Fabric and Azure with data engineers.
• Migrate legacy reports to the cloud platform; enhance existing reporting.
• Own test planning and validation; ensure accuracy before production.
• Document data lineage and report logic; train users.
• Mentor junior team members.
