Northwestern Medicine seeks a Senior Analytics Developer to deliver data warehouse and analytic solutions by writing ETL packages, developing visualizations, and performing data analyses. You will work cross-functionally to turn raw data into actionable information for executives and leaders across the organization.

The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with the Microsoft data stack (SSRS/SSMS/SSIS/SSAS), and familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four or more years of experience querying and/or analyzing data.
• Experience with the Microsoft stack (SSRS, SSMS, SSIS, SSAS).
• Experience using SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and advanced SQL; ability to create complex queries and stored procedures.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and working in Agile environments.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data warehouse and analytic solutions by writing ETL packages and developing visualizations.
• Perform data and statistical analyses and administer systems to deliver information to the health system.
• Synthesize raw data into actionable information for stakeholders; collaborate with business to gather requirements.
• Design and develop dashboards, reports, and cubes; assist ETL design and development.
• Evaluate data quality and interpret results clearly; document requirements and decisions.
• Own analytics projects and collaborate across departments; mentor staff and share expertise.
