Job summary

Select Minds LLC is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer / BI Data Modeler for a remote role. You will migrate complex Excel analytics to Power BI, design scalable data models, and validate KPI results against existing reports. The position requires strong DAX, data modeling, and SQL skills, with overlap to US Eastern Time for some hours.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in Insurance/Financial Analytics and can deliver interactive dashboards for regional cost analyses and projections.

Qualifications

• This role requires migrating complex Excel-based insurance analytics to Power BI.
• Analyze existing Excel formulas, VBA macros, VBScript, and Power Query transformations.
• Translate business logic into DAX calculations and scalable data models.
• Validate Power BI KPI results against Excel reports.

Important:

This is not a visualization-only Power BI role. Candidates must have hands-on experience with complex Excel calculations, DAX, Power BI data modeling, and preferably VBA/VBS-driven reporting processes.
