Job summary

S+H Search is partnering with a Dallas nonprofit to recruit a Senior BI Developer and Data Analyst for their IT team, reporting to the VP of Technology.

You will own the enterprise reporting build-out using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI — designing executive dashboards, defining KPIs, building semantic models and DAX/Power Query logic, and driving self-service analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in enterprise BI, with 3+ years hands-on in Power BI.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and dimensional/star schema experience.
• Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders.
• Nonprofit, healthcare, education, government, or human services experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to define KPIs and reporting priorities.
• Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards and semantic models.
• Own DAX, Power Query, and data modeling for enterprise reporting.
• Help implement and grow a new Microsoft Fabric/Power BI environment.
