Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst IV to support design and development of BI solutions, data engineering, and analytics products. You will work with Power BI, writing DAX and SQL queries, to deliver dashboards, scorecards, and forecasting models across the organization.

You will gather requirements from stakeholders, collaborate in an Agile environment, and ensure data quality while building scalable analytics that enable better decisions and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a business/ data/reporting analyst role.
• Experience with Power BI dashboard development.
• Experience with DAX, Power Query/M, and SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake or cloud databases.
• Exposure to Microsoft analytics stack (SQL Server, SSAS Tabular, Power BI, DAX, SQL).
• Experience using AI tools to enhance BI development.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of data domains to support BI solutions within Power BI.
• Build relationships with internal customers to understand needs.
• Collaborate with senior teammates on modeling and BI best practices.
• Communicate effectively within an Agile team.
• Support design of BI tools and products for analytics team.

• Create scorecards and dashboards for KPIs.
• Perform ad-hoc exploratory data analysis.
• Assist in gathering requirements via interviews and workshops.
• Support statistical analysis and data models linked to operations.
• Identify data quality issues and enforce data standards.
