Job summary

Hormel Foods Corporation seeks a Senior BI Analyst to design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards across IT and corporate offices. You will write advanced SQL, build semantic models, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end BI solutions.

You will mentor junior analysts, enforce best practices in data visualization, and support automation of reporting processes. Relocation assistance to MN may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of BI/data analytics experience with senior ownership of deliverables.
• Advanced proficiency with Tableau or Power BI and DAX.
• Strong SQL with joins, window functions and tuning.
• Experience extracting data from cloud warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Experience designing semantic models for enterprise reporting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Sponsorship/work visa not required; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools.
• Write and optimize SQL to source data from cloud warehouses.
• Design semantic models and reusable metrics across tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver end‑to‑end BI solutions.
• Maintain dashboards, address performance issues, and document definitions.
• Mentor junior analysts on BI standards and modeling concepts.
• Automate reporting processes and improve self-service analytics.
