Job summary

The Farmer's Dog in New York, NY is seeking a Senior BI Analyst 1 to transform complex data into clear insights. You will build reporting, dashboards, and data surfaces to support operational and strategic decision-making across the organization.

You will surface data products as dashboards, reports, and data stories to enable data-driven decisions. You will translate data into business value and work with cross-functional teams to drive impactful outcomes in a fast-paced, in-office culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or a related data-focused role.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining analytical and reporting solutions.
• Proficient in building dashboards and data visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, Looker and Omni, Sigma are a plus).
• Experience with relational databases, data modeling concepts, and data transformation processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Own the evals for reporting via our AI surfaces.
• Validate data by reviewing sources, transformation logic, joins, calculations, business rules, and edge cases to ensure outputs are accurate and trusted.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics and Data Science to ensure data quality & consistency across all source and channels.
• Translate data insights into practical business recommendations and communicate uncertainties and considerations for decision-making.
